Tickets for Mulan on sale now!
Watch the story of Mulan unfold onstage in an original ballet on Saturday, March 18th at 5 and 7 pm at the Cary Arts Center. These hour-long performances are sure to delight audiences of all ages with ballet inspired by traditional Chinese dance, a gripping story of heroism and bravery, and exciting battle scenes. The evening will also feature guest performances by our contemporary dance company and dancers from the Triangle Area Chinese American Society.
Profits from the evening’s performances will benefit our on-site dance locations: The Carying Place and the scholarship fund for Oak City Academy. Each spring our classical and contemporary ballet companies host a benefit performance. Over the past few years, we have raised more than $6,000 for projects for children ranging from mirrors for an inner-city dance studio to swing sets for an orphanage. We are excited to see what we can do this year to help these worthy organizations! Our thanks to the Town of Cary for their grant which helped make this performance possible. Let’s multiply the investment made in our dance company and the good done in the community and pack the house for these shows!
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children and can be purchased at these links or at the box office which is located at the Cary Theater, 122 E. Chatham St.:
